Screen printing is the gold standard for bold, vibrant, and long-lasting prints on textiles and garments. The process involves creating a mesh screen for each color in the design, then pushing ink through the screen onto the fabric using a squeegee. Each color is applied one at a time, resulting in rich, opaque prints with exceptional color density and sharpness.
At S4 Printers, we use advanced automatic and semi-automatic screen printing presses with precision registration systems to ensure perfect color alignment across every piece. Our experienced team handles everything from screen preparation to final quality inspection, guaranteeing consistent, museum-quality results across your entire order.
The screen printing process begins with creating a mesh screen (typically made of polyester) for each color in your design. A stencil is applied to the screen, blocking areas where ink should not pass through.
The screen is placed on the fabric, and ink is pushed across the screen using a rubber squeegee. The ink passes through the open areas of the mesh, transferring the design onto the fabric. Each color is applied separately using its own screen.
After printing, the fabric is cured in a conveyor dryer at precise temperatures to permanently set the ink. This curing process ensures the print becomes part of the fabric itself, delivering exceptional wash resistance and long-lasting durability.
Screen printing delivers thick, opaque ink layers that produce the boldest, most vivid colors of any printing method — especially on dark fabrics.
Screen printed designs withstand 100+ washes without cracking, peeling, or fading. The ink bonds permanently with fabric fibers during the curing process.
The more you print, the cheaper each piece becomes. Screen printing is the most economical choice for orders of 50 pieces and above.
Achieve exact brand colors using Pantone matching system. Every print is color-consistent across your entire production run.
Print on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, denim, and various other textiles with excellent adhesion and finish quality.
Our automatic presses can produce hundreds of prints per hour, ensuring quick turnaround even for large volume orders.
Plastisol is the most widely used screen printing ink in the industry. It sits on top of the fabric creating a slightly raised, opaque finish with vibrant colors. Plastisol is incredibly durable, easy to work with, and produces consistent results across large production runs. It’s the go-to choice for t-shirts, hoodies, and promotional apparel.
Get a QuoteWater-based inks soak directly into the fabric fibers rather than sitting on top, creating an incredibly soft, breathable print with a ‘no-feel’ finish. This eco-friendly method is perfect for achieving a vintage, worn-in look and is ideal for premium fashion brands, organic clothing lines, and environmentally conscious businesses.
Get a QuoteDischarge printing uses a special bleach-like ink that removes the dye from dark fabrics, then replaces it with the desired color. The result is an ultra-soft, vintage-style print that feels like part of the fabric itself. This technique is popular for premium streetwear, retro designs, and high-end fashion brands looking for a distinctive distressed aesthetic.
Get a QuoteOur fully automatic screen printing presses use computer-controlled systems for precise registration, consistent squeegee pressure, and uniform ink application across every piece. This technology ensures perfect color alignment, identical print quality across thousands of pieces, and significantly faster production times compared to manual printing.
Get a QuoteSpot color printing uses pre-mixed, solid colors applied one at a time through separate screens. Each color is precisely matched to Pantone specifications, delivering bold, solid fills with clean edges. This is the ideal method for logos, typography, team uniforms, and corporate branding where color accuracy and consistency are critical.
Get a QuoteHalftone printing uses tiny dots of varying sizes to create the illusion of gradients, shadows, and color transitions using a limited number of ink colors. This technique allows screen printing to achieve photographic-like effects and smooth tonal ranges while maintaining the durability and bold color of traditional screen printing.
